Steel Chef is an annual, 11-week program that provides teens the tools and education they need to prepare healthier foods while teaching them entry-level skills needed to work in restaurant kitchens. The program serves as a career pathway to the restaurant industry.
Join Focus On Renewal and Heritage Valley Hospital, for the culinary competition of 2019! Watch a group of Pittsburgh teens and local chefs as they battle it out chef-style on stage to determine who has what it takes to win the coveted title of “Steel Chef”.
